Nicole Bassett is co-founder of The Renewal Workshop and Circularity Lead at Bleckmann Logistics - enabling circular solutions for over 20 brands. 

Basset founded The Renewal Workshop with Jeff Denby 10 years ago in Oregon as one of the very first post-consumer textile sorting, cleaning, repairing, remanufacturing, and reselling facilities. They partnered with many brands on resale, repair, and remanufacturing where they brought damaged garments back to life. 

March 2022 Bleckmann acquired The Renewal Workshop. Bleckmann is a logistics expert/3PL for fashion and lifestyle brands with a presence in Europe, UK, and the US, and when they acquired The Renewal Workshop, it was with the intention of incorporating circular solutions into the Bleckmann offering.

The Renewal Workshops’s circular services are now being offered in Columbus, OH, and at sites in the Netherlands, England and Belgium. These services include not only collecting items through trade-in or returns, but also the sorting, cleaning, repairing, and preparing items for resale. This is cleverly coupled with Bleckmann’s expertise in warehouse management, logistics, fulfillment and returns handling.
